Sheffield’s finest (along with Cabaret Voltaire), the original line-up of The Human League. This is the band in its purest electronic form which is, after all, what this series is about. ‘Travelogue’ remains my favourite album of theirs, in fact it’s right up there in my top 5 all time, full stop. Pure and stripped down electronic brilliance. It may not be your cup of tea, if the second incarnation of the band is your thing, but give it a go if you haven’t.
